Facebook whistleblower proves social media is an energy vampire that never sleeps
State attorney Generals are leading the charge after the FB whistleblower exposed Frances Haugen,a week ago. The SA is claiming FB is spreading misinformation on cOVID-19. Even president Biden claimed Facebook is making people sick with covid. Far from its family and friends’ digital pen pal origins, Facebook has become the digital quarrel headquarters. The misinformation of covid is only a symptom of a bigger problem, magnifying and increasing the division in an already divided society. Yet billions of people continue to engage in negative discussion. Here’s why social media is an energy vampire that never sleeps.
For Holloween film buffs, we all know that the vampire in most of the older scary movies was always charming and handsome. More importantly, the vampire wasn’t allowed in your house unless you invited him in. Your ignorance of his true intentions, to suck the life out of you was paralyzed by his appearance and charisma. But if you were ignorant you may have gotten lucky and lived. If the sun came out, the vampire had to hide in darkness, because the truth comes to the light, eventually. And that brings us to the Facebook whistleblower.
Just like the vampire Facebook must hide from the light and use P.R. tactics to continue their innocent illusion. Just like a vampire, while not as charming and handsome, Zuckerberg uses the average look appeal to hide his true intention. Just as one has to invite the vampire inside his or her house, the Facebook user must willingly log in. When we log in were invite all types of energy into our spirit. Endless scrolling triggered posts, and countless advertisements are being absorbed by our conscious spirit. Facebook Whistleblower also stated that tweaks were made to the algorithm during the recent presidential election to incite users on the left and right. And this is why we must become independent thinkers.
Study shows that Leisure time may determine your happiness
According to Bhgavadagita, we are living in the kali yuga age, which is the age of quarrel. We have to expect that companies like Facebook want you to open the doors of your home(phone) so they can steal your energy so they can make money. While Facebook isn’t new to controversy, we’ve seen this in another company of theirs, WhatsApp. What’s App lost millions of users by selling their data. Facebook and other companies want you to think they are using your data to show you things that you like. Apparently arguing is on a lot of people’s lists. Why is that?
Remember even if being offered money, liberals or republicans would still not look into the other party platform. Its as if we hate real selves so much, we would rather argue with people we don’t care about people that don’t care about us. All of this time spent online is taking us out of the present moment and is time spent away from cultivating a relationship with ourselves.
In conclusion, at this point, we’ve left the door open and left a come-in sign by the front window. We willingly give out our data, so we can be manipulated with ads, or people well never meet. There may not be fangs in our neck but our eyes are bleeding from looking at our screens. Fight the battle for your mind and your autonomy and become a free thinker, explore our content and stop hiding from your true self. Its ok to spend time alone. It wont cost you anything, and in fact, may save your life..
