God has entered the ChatGPT. The passion(Or lack thereof) of the A.I. is now being used in sermons.
Can A.I. catch the holy ghost? Can it be filled with the spirit of GOD? These are questions that were never asked until now thanks to ChatGPT..Several pastors and rabbis have recently reported to self-admitting to using the trending ChatGPT for their sermons. What could possibly go wrong? In the beginning, was the word anyway correct? Furthermore, isn’t it time we focused on the messenger and not the message? The world has enough self-proclaimed prophets, gurus, masters, rabbis, and pastors who have a claim to fame and status. Wouldn’t A.I. and ChatGPT give the world a chance to truly focus on the message? God has entered the ChatGPT. The passion(or lack thereof) of the A.I. is now being used in sermons.
Not to sound prophetic but several years ago we warned our independent thinkers that 5G and A.I. would be worshipped as the new GOD. “It will perform miracles that you pastors could never dream of”. Well if you don’t believe in the power of 5G and AI.. Your Spiritual leaders do. However, the results were satisfactory at best, everything short of a miracle. The Milwaukee Independent has reported that several rabbis have used ChatGPT for sermons. Their responses?
It was pleasant, but somewhat bland, and at the end, Keefe revealed that it was written by ChatGPT, not by herself.
“While the facts are correct, there’s something deeper missing,” she wrote. “AI cannot understand community and inclusivity and how important these things are in creating church.”
“It’s not terrible, but yes, I agree. Rather generic and a little bit eerie,” wrote Douglas Federhart. “I like what you write a lot more. It comes from an actually living being, with a great brain and a compassionate, beating heart.”
ChatGPT strengths were its intellectual ability to reason according to some rabbis;
Brewer wrote that he was “not prepared” when ChatGPT responded with a creation that met his criteria and “is better than several Christmas sermons I’ve heard over the years.”
“The A.I. even seems to understand what makes the birth of Jesus genuinely good news,” Brewer added.
5g Network will perform miracles your pastor never could have done
Yet, in an age of information, inflation and social media pop culture amongst other real and psuedo responsibilities, some pastors may have zero left in the tank to preach the word of GOD with the passion American preachers are known for.
“Some young pastors may become overly reliant on these machines … and not see the imperfections of these tools,” Thacker said. “Many pastors are overworked, exhausted, filled with anxiety… One can see why a pastor might say, ‘I can’t do everything I’m supposed to do,’ and start passing ideas off as their own.”
In conclusion,the main complaint about ChatGPT from rabbis and pastors was it’s lack of passion and empathy, essentially the core teaching of christianity. Solving problems and being intellectually competent may sound great but lacking empathy leaves a huge void. People don’t want everything solved, need to be convinced or told their wrong all the time. What people want is to be understood, heard and connected. Not in the wifi or techonological sense either.
