Socialist martyr George Floyd is the newest victim of idol worship.
First things first, the death of George Floyd was tragic and unacceptable. So much so that a rare guilty verdict was given to the arresting officer Derick Chauvaun. Furthermore, law enforcement and government officials shamed the officers involved in the death of George Floyd. For instance, the Ohio attorney general released a statement to the public saying that justice was served in the Chauvaun case and that he didn’t exemplify good policing. With all this being said, we must seriously contemplate the message being sent to the world when we erect a statue of George Floyd. Floyd once a victim of the excessive police force now becomes a victim of a socialist martyr to keep dividing the country.
It took almost 30 years of fundraising for MLK to get his memorial statue built, George Floyd? Around a year, is that a coincidence? Historically The black community has been devout followers of Christ. Despite being forced fed the bible and adopting its beliefs under life-threatening circumstances. We weren’t taught to read until around 150 years ago with the emancipation proclamation releasing the slaves and later as a reminder of Juneteenth(Even today they have to be reminded that they’re free.) Former slave Booker T Washington learned how to read after being a slave and became a great orator.
However, despite the substandard education public education system most blacks today can read better than the slaves prior to being free. And although many attended Sunday service no matter what, they did the night before. And despite a church on every 2 blocks, many must have skipped over the 2nd commandment, no graven images.
If you’re already familiar with this channel, you know that celebrity and idol worshiping are forms of modern first-world idolatry. If you needed more proof, Floyd’s statue was struck down by lightning and destroyed several days ago.. The Marxist socialist agenda attempted to use Floyd as a pawn to further their agenda. Despite crime going up we will continue to push this defund the police initiative without providing an alternative to our communities. Floyd isn’t alive to speak nor defend himself. Prior to the unfortunate events that lead to his death, Floyd wasn’t a household name or a leader of people. Out of respect for the dead Floyds troubled background won’t be discussed. However, Floyd doesn’t meet the criteria for someone who gets a statue done for them. Generally, the person is still alive and has had a significant impact on society. Now to be fair, this site is an advocate against the distraction of professional sports and there are plenty of sports statues all over America, which in our opinion shouldn’t be up either but I digress.
But the black communities love celebrity worship, as they can live through those who “made it”, while still complaining about a system. Celebrity status is the most important status available to us. At least we tell ourselves this. First, it was ghetto fabulous, then hood rich, and today is clout chasing, all of these to some extent are forms of celebrity worship. The adoration is superficial and envy lurks beneath the surface as negative stigmas such as coon and sell out are spewed when the black populace disagrees with a decision or dating mate.
Recently Samaria Rice, the mother of a slain 12-year-old Tamir Rice who was gunned down by cops called out several entertainers. Rice felt that black celebrities were using the deaths of her son and other victims of police brutality to garner clout. Thus putting attention and clout above meaningful police reform… But Floyd was no celebrity or activist, when the youth of the future are asked about Floyd’s character or achievements, what will we tell them to emulate? Or will we tell them not to follow in his footsteps? I will assume the latter for the sake of the article. One need not look too far for negative black male role models in the inner cities of America. So the next question becomes what is the motive? Thousands of black men have died on and off camera from the hands and weapons of police without any statues. So why build a statue for a bad role model in the first place? My bet is another cog in the wheel of Marxist socialist social engineering.
While the socialists had their hands in the civil rights movements, things are different today. The civil rights movement was nonviolent and faith-based. Part of the socialist agenda is to remove God from the schools, therefore removing god for justice doesn’t give the people something bigger than themselves to be a part of. As far as I know, Floyd wasn’t a god-fearing man like MLK and Malcolm X, The problem with statues is that it makes it about the person and not the principles they stood for. God is out of the equation and that “Humanizes” a movement leaving us to trust them to just do what’s right. The George Floyd statue is just another tactic to remove the morals of an already controversial movement.
What about the children that were gunned down by police .i.e Tamir Rice? Are they not worthy of a statue? What principles or way of life did Floyd leave for us to follow? We don’t create a hierarchy of suffering as everyone put here has to suffer and endure pain. Generally, this pain comes from attachment. The media and Marxist socialist agenda have to pull the people away from God and into the material world. This is done by preying and manipulating your emotions. Then by attaching you to the event that happened in the past. There are no statues erected as of recently for black males of gun violence dying from other black men?. We have a duty as human beings not just as officers of the law. Holding one to a higher standard doesn’t mean neglecting the standard for civilians, this is why laws exist. Are we sending the message that because officers are workers of the state that it’s more important when they kill a person of color?
As floyds statue is being used to remind the people of the defund the police agenda, more people who look like Floyd are being gunned down by, more people who look like floyd. This is a win win for the marxist socialist agenda, our floyd idolatry furthers the death and destruction of the black male in his communities, increase crime, and shames the police who want to do their job….
In today’s snowflake-sensitive society it’s hard to discuss the fallacy of Floyd’s statues being erect because he was a victim of police brutality. To say there are other black men who “deserve” a statue for the contribution to society that was unknown just like Floyd is an understatement. None of us knew Floyd personally, would he have wanted a statue of himself? Or was this a perfect opportunity to capitalize off the death of a police brutality victim to further an agenda? As the cement hardens on the statue so will the people’s desire for “social justice”. Are we trapped in a moment of time just like the statue or are we really free?
To make matters worse, Floyd’s case is the rare instance that justice was finally served with a guilty verdict. As if the entire globe marching in the name of George Floyd wasn’t enough. Floyd’s statue is a reminder of the black community displacing their energies for change in their communities just as much as it is for police reform. If not more. Basically, as a black male either as a celebrity or athlete the only other time you will get a statue is being a victim of police brutality. All of the above are nothing but distractions from the real issues in black communities.
In conclusion, Never before has a drug addict, ex-criminal police brutality victim been glamorized with a statue. There are hundreds of black men that have left more of a positive social impact in the world that don’t have statues. This notion validates the agenda of using racism as the trojan horse to further the Marxist agenda. As a result, this makes Floyd a victim in life and after death, and that is the real tragedy.
