Police brutality and the law of attraction
Generally, within the context of the law of attraction is discussed in gender relationships instead of daily life occurrences. These reflections are meant to trigger healing and growth in the individuals. So why would police brutality and the law of attraction any different?.Â
Is the universe using police brutality and injustices to strengthen the black community? Will this make us finally come together, or will we continue to hate those who look like us.?
I know what this sounds like, another article blaming black people for their role in police injustice rather than focusing on the system. Rather than focusing on the corrupt police, judges, and incompetent Mayors who refuse to hold officers accountable, we should blame ourselves. It sounds insensitive and irrational to the families that are victims of police brutality, and it won’t stop cops from getting away with murder.
Giving alternative takes on such sensitive and controversial issues is risky, but risks must be taken, and all worthy options must be explored if the problem has yet to be resolved.
We can pick and choose in intellectual discussions when and where we want to insert the law of attraction into our lives, but the universe is objective and will manifest when it wants. We must obtain and use this same objectivity.
The law of attraction and universal principle should be discussed more often than not in systematic oppression because it gives solutions to start within. However, it seems far fetched to even have spiritual conversations on issues that need to be proven in court.
Why insert spirituality for something as logical and objective as police getting away with murdering innocent black men and women?. However, Our lack of spiritual insight in these matters, exposes how far we’ve strayed from higher evolution spiritually to enjoy the material logical world.Â
At the same time, we claim to be the most spiritual of all the races, are the most loyal church-going members, and make superstitions seem like the norm. Yet we struggle to see our oppression through a spiritual lense.
For instance, the universe will only put out what energy and thought patterns you’re repeating. How you feel about it doesn’t matter. Universal law isn’t partial to feelings. No matter how unfair you may think it is. If your constant thought pattern is angry, protest without channeling and transmutation, that energy will manifest the same results.Â
Don’t we all have to carry our cross? Does writing this article mean I care less than the next person about police brutality because I want us to heal within? No, it doesn’t, and if you believe it does, then you’re more than likely a victim of divide and conquer.
Malcolm X speaks on the self-hate in the black community that was taught to us by racist whites. If we try to alter our image in time, we will learn to hate that which reminds us of ourselves.Â
The standard of beauty to us reflects white images and if God is white, why would we love anything black? Denial is an innate defense mechanism to soften the impact of trauma and the bitter truth.
It is no wonder that being a celebrity is such a top priority in the black community. We must compensate for the lack of love from within. The broken homes, the drug epidemic, the dysfunctional gang cultures, the glorifying of unproductive lifestyles.
Recently a funeral near Chicago was shot up and 15 people were shot. Not to my surprise, it was hard to find an example of Whites doing this type of crime. Sure, you have your biker gang shootouts but nothing at a funeral. As much as we complain about racism we’ve never abused our oppressor as much as they have us. Instead, we harm and kill each other.Â
Lastly, the crime rate in impoverished white communities is nowhere near that of blacks. Which tells us there is an x-factor, whether it be culturally or spiritually. We have to take an honest look in the mirror to analyze our disdain for each other.Â
In conclusion, police brutality is a reflection of us never feeling protected in this foreign land. Our native culture and tongue are but a memory here; our ancestors continually passed on 400 years of PTSD that travels through our DNA. Once we take our freedom and become secure within, police brutality will decrease.
